THE newly-revamped Christmas on the Green event returned to Milnthorpe on Saturday, bringing festive fun to the village.
Entertainment was provided by the bell ringers of St Thomas’s Parish Church, Pete Lashley, Steve Lashley, Rigney Bank Ballet School and three local choirs.
New to the event was a Christmas market with around 15 stalls selling festive gifts, jewellery, food and even gnomes.
Father Christmas handed out gifts from his grotto throughout the day, before the traditional raffle and fancy dress competition.
