CUMBRIA County Council is planning to start work in January 2015 on a major £2.3m road improvement scheme in Penrith.
The project will improve access to the Gilwilly Industrial Estate and Eden Business Park, paving the way for future business growth and potential new jobs. Plans for the scheme have been put on display at Penrith Library until January 9.
