THE South Cumbria Acquisitive Crime Group have been handing out ‘purse bells’ at a series of crime prevention events this week in a bid to deter purse and wallet thefts.
The partner agency group held events at Kendal and Windermere yesterday, and will be in Barrow and Ulverston today (Thursday).
