ANIMAL Studies students at Lancaster & Morecambe College (LMC) have recently fostered Molly, a 12-year-old cat from Animal Care Lancaster.
Students will socialise with the feline every day, maintain her accommodation, feed her, groom her and get her into a daily routine.
This means that Molly will be more used to people and less likely to have any behavioural issues, which should help her to find a permanent home. Once Molly has been homed, the college will foster another cat from the rescue centre.
Victoria Bond, programme area manger for Animal Studies and Horticulture, said: “The addition of Molly to the animal collection has been very positive, the students are really enjoying looking after her and spending time playing and grooming her. We are all hoping that Molly finds her forever home soon but when she does she will be missed by all who have helped look after her."
