A TALK about the Viking-age cemetery at Cumwhitton, near Carlisle, is to be given at the Shakespeare Centre, Kendal, on Monday evening (January 5).
The presentation by archaeologist Rachel Newman will be the first meeting of 2015 for the Cumberland and Westmorland Antiquarian and Archaeological Society. It begins at 7.30pm and the cost is £2.50 for non-members.
