TWO South Lakeland charities are joining forces this month to offer new support services for local people affected by cancer and life limiting conditions.
CancerCare will now offer a free adult counselling service and specialist support for young people aged 11-18 based at St. Mary’s Hospice in Ulverston.
South Lakeland residents affected by cancer or a life limiting condition such as cardiac, neurological or lung disease - as well as their carers, relatives or anyone affected by bereavement - will be able to access free support sessions within the hospice’s newly-opened Cavendish Wing.
