Police appeal for witnesses after man injured in Ulverston assault
POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Ulverston which resulted in a man being hospitalised with a head injury.
Officers said the alleged assault took place outside The Sun Inn, Market Street, after an incident inside the premises led to a number of people being ejected.
The victim, described as a 21-year-old man, around 6ft and wearing a blue and white checked shirt, was taken by ambulance to Furness General Hospital to be treated for a head injury.
The alleged assault took place just before 1am on December 14. Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to contact them on 101.
