This photograph of a pheasant at Leighton Moss Nature Reserve was taken by Gazette chief photographer Mark Harrison. "It came charging at me looking for food on a frosty morning near the lower hide," said Mark. "It pecked at the camera lens and then walked off in disappointment as I had no food and, anyway, you should not feed wildlife at the reserve."
