STAGECOACH Cumbria and North Lancashire has raised £500 in support of Jigsaw, Cumbria’s children’s hospice.
The company decided to send customers and key stakeholders Christmas e-cards instead of printing and posting festive cards. The money saved was presented to the fundraising team at Jigsaw.
Michael Sanderson, Commercial Manager at Stagecoach Cumbria and North Lancashire said: "Our green initiative has helped ensure that children at the centre can live their life to the full and that staff can continue to support families when they need it the most."
Jigsaw, based in Carlisle, can provide emotional and physical support for up to six children every day and has the facility for up to five children and young adults to stay overnight.
