A MAN who 'spun off' the M6 and crashed has pleaded guilty to a number of driving offences.
Stephen Thomas Morris, 56, appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court where he admitted driving while unfit through drugs, driving without a licence and using a vehicle without insurance.
Defence solicitor Allan Cobain told the court the Blackpool man had been driving from Scotland when he collided with a car, causing him to spin off the motorway and crash into a tree near Preston Patrick.

He added Morris, of Hornby Road, did not receive any injuries but was taken to hospital.
Mr Cobain told the court a blood sample was taken and a "concoction of various drugs" were detected.
Chair of the bench Margaret Stamper said due to the serious nature of the offences the case would need to be adjourned for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
He was given unconditional bail and will be sentenced on March 4 in Kendal.
