A KENDAL man has been fined for being drunk and disorderly after causing a disturbance in a Stramongate chip shop.
A court heard that police were called after receiving information that Lukasz Rotkowski was ‘shouting and swearing’ and ‘causing concern for customers.’
Rotkowski, 31, of Aynam Road, had left the premises by the time officers arrived, but they later found him at a night shelter.
The court heard that he was arrested after using abusive language towards the police. Rotkowski pleaded guilty and was fined £100 with £85 costs.
