The best of Barrow and the Furness area was celebrated in style at the Love Barrow Awards.
The tenth annual awards ceremony brought together the very best of the borough, putting deserving residents and community groups in the spotlight.
Furness College was delighted to sponsor the Act of Courage award which each year showcases all that is great about the area. This year the award was won by Andrea Edwards for her amazing charity work despite facing a huge personal battle.
The surprise award of the evening went to Furness College Principal Anne Attwood who received Barrow's Ambassador of the Year award for all her achievements.
