A GLASGOW sales manager drank two bottles of beer while driving from Scotland to Leeds for a conference, a court heard.
John Myles, 57, of Livingstone Drive, was reported to the police after being seen 'weaving about' on the M6 near Tebay.
A breath test showed he had 51 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

South Cumbria Magistrates Court heard that Myles had a bottle of beer before leaving his house, and stopped en route to buy more.
In mitigation, Jackie Partington said: "He had intended to drink them in Leeds but he made what he has described as 'a selfish and stupid decision' to drink two."
She went on to say that 'a stressful situation' at work had led to Myles relying on alcohol to 'de-stress'.
Myles was given a 14-month driving ban and ordered to pay a £650 fine, £85 costs and a £65 victim surcharge.
