17 South Lakeland District Council seats being contested on May 7
Voters won't just be casting ballots for the next lot of MPs on May 7.
Seats in 17 South Lakeland District Council wards and 24 parish councils are also being contested.
Those who wish to stand in either poll must submit their nomination papers to the Returning Officer by 4pm on April 9.
