Ulverston ready for Walkfest
ULVERSTON is gearing up to host its annual WalkFest over ten days starting on Saturday (April 25).
This year’s programme has been carefully chosen so that there are walks to appeal to all ages and abilities.
Many walks take in local and industrial history and give walkers an insight to the rich heritage of the area, with the option of walking to Conishead Priory, Swarthmoor Hall and the Leven Valley heritage sites.
