'Pedal to Romania' challenge to raise money for charity
A GROUP of Cumbrian police officers and staff hope to ‘pedal to Romania’ on exercise bikes to raise money for charity.
Leadership and skills trainer Tracey Fawcett organised the event yesterday (Wednesday), at locations including Cumbria Constabulary’s headquarters in Penrith and Carlisle and Kendal Police Stations.
In aid of The Smiles Foundation Rapa Housing Project, the target was 1,529 miles – the distance from Penrith to Rapa.
