SIMON Berry, chairman and managing director of English Lakes Hotels Resorts & Venues, took centre stage at the prestigious Low Wood Hotel near Windermere to present a unique insight into the Lake District's largest family owned hotel group.
As part of Cumbria Business Growth Hub, the Family Business Network event saw Mr Berry present the English Lakes story - which started in 1952 with one hotel right through to today's portfolio of five luxury Lake District and Lancashire establishments.
