A KENDAL man pleaded guilty to assaulting two people and threatening two more at a town centre pub.
Leigh Dirkin, 23, admitted approaching David Windsor and Craig Nelson in the Rainbow Tavern and being abusive towards them on February 28.
South Cumbria Magistrates Court heard that he told them: "I've got a knife, I'll go and get it."
Lisa Hine, prosecuting, said Dirkin then 'back-handed' a glass, sending the contents over Mr Nelson.
In the second assault, he knocked Helen Morris to the floor after pushing her over while running in the pub.
In mitigation, John Batty said Dirkin had resorted to drink as a result of bullying and loneliness, as well as being unable to find employment.
The hearing was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
