ALL roads lead to Appleby for members of the gipsy and travellers community as they head for the annual horse fair that begins on Fair Hill next Thursday.
Joint encampment patrols by Cumbria Police and Environmental Health Officers (EHOs) from Eden District Council and South Lakeland District Council are already taking place. These patrols help ensure people travelling to the fair are using the temporary stopping places available in North and South Cumbria and are adhering to the restrictions that are in place at some of the more popular locations.
