It’s the Furness Factor event this afternoon which will see Furness College hosting its very first business challenge event. The six teams competing are Furness College, BAE Systems, Kimberly-Clark, Glaxo-Smith Kline, Siemens and the Furness Federation of Small Businesses. The teams will be taking part in a range of challenges using the superb college facilities. The challenges will be a test of their team building and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) skills with some extra surprises thrown in.
The event forms part of a lead up to VQ Day (taking place next Wednesday 10th June) which will see a national campaign to promote vocational qualifications.
Good luck to all those teams taking part. Photos and video to follow.
