Rescuers called to aid of unconscious teen on lake shore
RESCUERS were dispatched yesterday (June 19) after reports of an unconscious girl on a lakeside path.
Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team were called by the North West Ambulance Service at 3.11pm to the 14-year-old on a footpath near Beckside Farm, Sandwick Bay, Ullswater.
MORE TOP STORIES: The team launched their rescue boat and headed to the teen's location.
On arrival the girl had 'recovered sufficiently' and had been transferred by NWAS to the waiting land ambulance.
The nine members stood down and returned back to Patterdale base.
