A KENDAL College student's alcohol-themed art work is to go on display at an exhibition in London.
Lucy Child, 19, produced an installation called 'Alcohol Culture in the UK' which is to be displayed by the University of the Arts London at the Chelsea College of Art's Origins Exhibition on July 8.
"I'm really excited and a bit nervous because it's a big thing," said Lucy, of Milnthorpe Road, Kendal. "It's an installation piece about alcohol and I'm encouraging people to think differently about it. I used to work in a pub and I'd see people spending all day in there drinking and it sparked off something for me."
Her work includes a bar area complete with optics filled with coloured liquid.
Viewers are encouraged to take a shot of the 'alcohol' but discover that it is merely coloured water.
