A BUSY South Lakes mum has been honoured for helping to shape NHS policy.
Sally Percival from Selside is included in the first Patient Leaders list compiled by the Health Service Journal.
Sally chairs the National Co-production Advisory Group, sits on the board of Think Local Act Personal, is a member of the Coalition for Collaborative Care Co-production Group, founded and runs the South Lakeland Autism and Aspergers Support Group and Our Lives Cumbria.
And she does it all while caring for her son Alex and her mother Audree.
She was one of around 100 patient, healthcare leaders and guests who attended a private reception in Birmingham to celebrate the list's creation.
