THE creation of a school's new Reflective Garden has been celebrated in a special tree planting ceremony involving the Bishop of Penrith, the Rev Robert Freeman.
Helped Luke Atkinson, aged 11, and Lena Lwanicki, eight, to plant the strawberry tree at Flookburgh CE Primary School.
Acting head teacher Gill Pett said: "These special places provide opportunities for all our pupils to engage with, and develop, a greater spiritual understanding of the purpose of reflection and contemplation and the impact this has on their lives and the lives of others."
