EXCITING plans to build a £60,000 adventure playground for school children have received a welcome boost.
Ulverston town councillors have agreed to provide £1,750 to Sandside Lodge Special School, in Sandside Road, to help with their plans for an adventure zone', which would be used by the youngsters in break times and would also be available to use out of school hours by the children and their friends under the guidance of parents.
In approving the sum, Coun Brian Wilkinson said: "The school needs this money."
