Charities boosted by donations
THE Kirkby Lonsdale branch of the RNLI has thanked everyone who made a donation on its Flag Day, which raised £676.08.
Meanwhile, The Kendal Support Group of Save the Children collected £143.91 on the street of Grange-over-Sands.
