Homes plan given the go ahead at Consiton
SIX new houses are to be built in Coniston in a scheme which it is hoped will help to satisfy a lack of affordable housing for local people.
The homes - three of which will be for local people and three 'affordable' - will be built on a plot of land off Yewdale Road, close to the youth hostel, after winning approval from the Lake District National Park Authority's Development Control Committee.
