With slightly fewer teammates and significantly less of Roxanne than we originally anticipated, we have officially crossed the Mongol Rally finish line!
Once again a huge thanks to all the sponsors who made this trip possible and to all who made this journey worthwhile by donating to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
I had always intended on saying something along the lines of "who needs a 4x4 when you can buy a car for £300 and take it half way around the world", however given how the events unfolded on the rally, it is safe to say that we realised the ridiculousness of the adventure we embarked upon.
It would be certainly impolite to fail to mention all the people we have met and have helped us along the way, to all of you for following our travels and of course to the future baby Marco from Team Aquilla!
Apologies for the slightly grainy image but there has recently been huge forest fires nearby and the air is incredibly smoky. Fortunately there has been an official photographer on the scene to take some better snaps!
We are flying back to the UK tomorrow with a pleasant 21-hour stopover in a small town in central Russia - see you when we're back!
