A GRANT of £12,000 has been given to extend and refurbish Mansergh Community Hall, near Kirkby Lonsdale. The money will be used to create a new and more accessible entrance, additional storage space, small meeting room, which can be opened up into the main hall area. It will enable new activities to take place there including adult learning, advice sessions, yoga, keep fit, Pilates, cooking classes, art and craft classes, a woodwork class, more regular talks and a youth club.
