BEING drunk in charge of a pedal cycle led to a £35 fine for Gary Leslie Wells, 47, of Low Mead, Kendal.
Wells, who was not present at South Lakes Magistrates Court, had pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay £85 costs, a £20 victim surcharge and £150 court charges.
The court heard that Wells had been drinking at a friend's house, and he fell against a car and banged his head on Busher Walk, Kendal.
