STAFF at The Wensleydale Creamery at Hawes is celebrating further recognition this week as it picked up two reputable food awards.
Special Reserve Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese scooped the Taste of Excellence Award at the Farm Business Cream Awards on Thursday while Yorkshire Yogurt was a runner-up, being highly commended in the Yorkshire Life Food & Drink Awards, recognising excellence within the county's food and drink industry. They are the latest in a long line of accolades picked up by the cheesemaker this year alone, from esteemed awards including the International Cheese Awards at Nantwich and the 2015 Great Yorkshire Cheese & Dairy Show.
