A BUDDING ballerina from Kendal has landed a role in a stunning production of Snow White in Manchester this December.
Twinkle-toed six-year-old Eleanor King will be performing at The Lowry with leading UK contemporary dance company ballet LORENT on December 5-6.
Proud mum Shirley King has been taking Eleanor to weekly tap and ballet classes at Pasdedeux Dance Academy in Kendal since she was three-years-old.
The Stramongate Primary School pupil will be part of the children’s ensemble for the production of Snow White, meaning she will play several roles throughout the show.
She was selected as one of the lucky 10 young dancers from 30 who auditioned at The Lowry, in Salford.
“She’s grinning from ear to ear – she thoroughly enjoyed her first rehearsal and is keen to show everyone the bits she’s learned so far," said Shirley. “It will be her first time performing in public, other than the school nativity play.”
