Thieves steal valuables from tents while people sleep inside
THIEVES unzipped tents and rummaged around, stealing valuables while the victims were asleep inside, police say.
It is believed three men were involved in the incident, which saw a ladies Timex watch, handbags and a mobile phone stolen from one tent as well as car keys and a DVD player from another.
Police believe the men were driving a white Range Rover when the crimes were committed, on Sunday, September 27, at the Lakeland Leisure Park camp site in Flookburgh, on Moor Lane.
