A FLOOD alert has been issued for large parts of south Cumbria's coastline tonight.
The Environment Agency has issued the high tide alert, warning that tidal spray and onshore flooding may affect some roads and properties.
Roa Island, Roosebeck, south Ulverston, Canal Foot, East Plain Farm, Arnside and Sandside are all on alert.
The tide is forecast to peak at around 11.30pm.
High water can be expected for two hours before and after the peak.
