POLICE are appealing for information after a thief tried to break into two popular shops in Endmoor - successfully stealing cash from one.

At 1.19am this morning, police were called to Main Street, Endmoor, amid reports of a suspicious man lurking in the area.

Officers discovered someone had entered the Little Bakery and stolen £100 and a safe before attempting to break into the Village Store next door.

Witnesses say the suspicious man was aged between 18-20, wearing a dark hoodie and trousers and he had white gloves on.
