Car was alight on M6
EDEN firefighters were called to a car on fire on the M6 southbound between junctions 40 and 39 shortly after 4pm yesterday (Friday).
A spokesman said: "The fire had burnt itself out when the crew arrived. They cooled the engine compartment using a hose reel jet."
