Are you aware that the Dawlish railway line, which was washed away by the sea in February 2014, was repaired and back inaction in 60 days? Do you also know that it cost £35 million to complete?
Storm Desmond hit on December 5 and we have a schedule for opening the A591 end of May, which will make it 177 days since then, which is nearly three times longer and Dawlish had to deal with the sea, not a babbling brook!
