A BOWNESS taxi company is hoping to open a Kendal booking office at a former beauty salon.
Nigel Brett, of Lakeside Taxis, is seeking planning permission from South Lakeland District Council for the venture at 35 Allhallows Lane.
The office would be open from 6am to 3pm, seven days a week, according to planning documents, and taxis would operate from ranks in and around Kendal, not outside the premises.
