FIREFIGHTERS were called to a report of a kitchen fire in Marsh Street, Askam-in-Furness this afternoon.
Cooking left unattended is believed to be the cause of the blaze and firefighters, two wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to put out the fire.
A thermal imaging camera was then used to check there were no further hot-spots.
