Police seek witnesses after series of car park thefts
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a series of car park and public toilet thefts in the Windermere area.
Cash boxes found at the public toilets on the Glebe and at Baddeley Clock in Bowness-on-Windermere were targeted during the day on April 15.
There were also attempts to break into car park ticket machines on the Glebe and Rayrigg Meadow. These incidents occurred overnight between April 16 and 17.
Anyone who saw any suspicious activity during these times should contact PC 2160 Newman on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800555111. Callers should quote log 39 of April 16 when making contact.
