A LEADING holiday cottage agency is opening up its newly-refurbished office in Windermere.

Cumbrian Cottages, which also has local offices in Keswick and Carlisle, will be showcasing its renovations on April 29 and 30.

The office has been renovated from top to bottom, to offer an improved environment for the public who call in as well as for the 13 members of staff who work there.

Gerry Smith, the Regional Office Manager for Cumbrian Cottages, has said that the new space is 'fantastic' to work in.

"It's a lot more modern and much more comfortable," she said. "It's a pleasure to come to work."

The company's Keswick office is also undergoing refurbishment, and the team will be hoping for similar results.

Over the upcoming two day event, suppliers and estate agents will be able to visit the Windermere office to find out more about the services that Cumbrian Cottages provide.

On Saturday, Westmorland and Lonsdale MP, Tim Farron, will visit the office to accept an £1,000 donation on behalf of the Cumbria Flood Appeal.

Cumbrian Cottages markets more than 1000 Cumbrian holiday homes, with staff providing support to both Cumbrian Cottages’ holidaymakers in the area, and property owners.

The ‘open house’ is on April 29 between 11am and 4pm, and on April 30 between 9.30am and 1.30pm.
