AFTER the hugely successful candlelit concerts featuring YES keyboardist Rick Wakeman last year, Lancaster Music Festival will be bringing legendary guitarist Steve Howe to Lancaster Priory on Friday, October 21.
The YES guitarist, who joined the band in 1970 and first featured on their third record 'The Yes Album', and went onto release 29 studio and live albums with the band in two stints.

He will be performing a candlelit performance as part of a solo UK tour promoting his 'Homebrew 6' album.
The Steve Howe concert will be the final concert of the Prog at the Priory 2016 season, which includes two concerts within the next month.
On Saturday, May 28, internationally-renowned organist and pianist Marco Lo Muscio and flautist John Hackett, brother of Genesis guitarist Steve, will perform instrumental interpretations of some of the masterpieces from the classic period of progressive rock including tracks by Pink Floyd, Rick Wakeman, ELP and King Crimson.
The following weekend, on Friday, June 3, Sir Thijs van Leer of legendary Dutch band Focus will perform an acoustic set accompanied by the guitarist of Focus, Menno Gootjes.
