THE flood-hit Daffodil Hotel & Spa at Grasmere re-opened on Monday (July 4) having undergone a full refurbishment to its ground floor after it was badly hit by Storm Desmond.
Guests arriving during the opening week will be welcomed with Prosecco and handmade cupcakes and can take advantage of special room rates starting at just £99 during July and August.
And executive chef Graham Harrower, who achieved the hotel’s first AA rosette shortly after his arrival last year, has created a range of new menus for the re-opening.
