PLANS to create two apartments above a Grade II-listed Kendal print shop have been lodged with South Lakeland District Council.
Howard Turner, of Printing Plus, at 108 Stricklandgate, hopes to get planning permission to convert the upper floors of the former inn, which may date back to the 17th century. Staircases dating back to the 19th century would be kept.
