Carnforth Town Council
A NEW bench to give shoppers carrying heavy bags a break has been proposed in Carnforth.
Cllr Pat Wooff told Carnforth Town Council that many people were walking up Kellet Road with shopping since the reduction of bus services in the town.
She suggested that a seat be located near the entrance to Tipping Road, and town clerk Philip Charnley is to see if Lancashire County Council approves of the plan.
