£2000 of Kendal Torchlight charity donations stolen
THIEVES have stolen £2000 worth of donations made to Kendal charities at the town's Torchlight Carnival.
The money, which was collected on Friday night, was stolen from the Manna House on Aynam Road sometime between 1pm on Saturday and 7.15am this morning.
Police are appealing for any witnesses. Anybody with information can call police on 101 or CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
