A POPULAR route on the edge of Kendal has been named as the United Kingdom's favourite dog walk.
Sarah Edwards, from New Hutton, won a Gala Bingo competition which asked people to vote for their favourite from 15 trails around the country.
Karina Adrian, PR & Brand Partnership manager at Gala Bingo, which launched the content, said: “Each walk has its own amazing qualities, quirks and sights but ultimately there could only be one winner! Sarah’s walk has been voted winner by the public and we can see why."
The winning walk takes dog-lovers to the west of Kendal and around the limestone crags of Scout Scar, taking in views of the Lyth Valley, southern fells and beyond.
