A 68-YEAR-OLD motorbike rider was airlifted to hospital after a collision with a car near Coniston on Saturday.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the A5084 at around 5pm on September 24.

The man was treated by the a GNAAS doctor-led trauma team for serious lower leg injuries.
He was then flown to Royal Preston Hospital, where he arrived in a stable condition.
