BUSINESS are being urged to to attend the the Lancashire Hotspots event, to learn more about what opportunities there are in Lancaster.

The event will see key leaders from the private and public sectors in a panel debate to discuss what the future holds for the district.

It will explore the impact of new links and ask what the north of the county needs to do to thrive.

Richard Slater, publisher of Lancashire Business View magazine said: “Lancashire Hotspots will take a closer look at the county’s hottest spots for commerce, industry and regeneration.

"We look forward to heading north of the county to the Lancaster district and giving attendees from the local area and further afield an overview of what’s happening."

The event will be held at Heysham Golf Club, giving guests the chance to travel across the new Bay Gateway and see first-hand the difference it makes in connecting Lancaster to the rest of the county.

It will take place on December 13 from 8-10.30am and is being held in association with Harrison Drury Solicitors.
