Langdale CE Primary School has been recognised for offering a 'diverse range of exciting and fun experiences'.
The school was seen as being 'good' by Ofsted in its latest inspection.
Headteacher Sally Jenkinson said that she felt the report reflected the 'hard work and dedication of a great team of staff and governors'.
"We are incredibly proud of the children, and feel privileged to teach such a fantastic bunch; they are a credit to us with their exceptional behaviour and caring attitudes," she said. "As you can read in the report, they show great respect for themselves and others, and have a great attitude to learning. They are really developing independence and take pride in being wonderful ambassadors for our school."
The inspectors found that the students responded with 'enthusiasm' to teachers and that the curriculum was 'rich'.
